Sierra Cocktails to host Toys for Tots party
It's that time of the year again. The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is officially here, and we
all have plenty to things to do.
That’s especially true regarding the needs of those who are less fortunate. The Toys for Tots
campaigns work to ensure that children from less fortunate families have a merry Christ-mas.
Sierra Cocktails and Supper Club, located at 6537 Inyokern Rd., will again host its annual Toys for
Tots celebration for the community of Inyokern this Saturday, Dec. 5, beginning at 6 p.m.
Each patron is asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy or particopate in the auction for special holiday
prizes.
All toys and money collected at the event will directly benefit children in the Indian Wells Valley. In
return you get to enjoy that warm feeling of knowing you helped bring a smile to the faces of young
children on Christmas morning.
Highlighting the musical entertainment for this special evening will be Summer, a San Diego-based
singer, songwriter and recording artist.
Her vocals demonstrate her wide range of musical influences — a perfect fusion of pop, rock, folk
and blues.
Summer will be in concert at Sierra Cocktails and Supper Club on Friday night as well as on the
special Toys For Tots night on Saturday. DJ music and requests will be played by Lone Mavrick
Productions.
For more information about the Inyokern Toys for Tots celebration, call the club at 760-377-4814.
