Community Band to perform free concert
    The Ridgecrest Community Band will present a free spring concert Thursday, May 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the
Parker Performing Arts Center, Burroughs High School.
    The concert, entitled “Musicals, Marches and Mayhem,” will be directed by Simon and Lisa Austin, Debra
Veit and Daniel Peterson and will feature selections from “Wicked,” “The Lion King,” Sousa and much
more.
at the Desert Empire Fairgrounds. The club meets at the south side of Joshua Hall near the trailer park.  
    The club’s last regular meeting of 2010 will begin at 9 a.m., with Kistler’s program starting at 11 a.m.
