Air Force Airman Donald S. Farris
graduated from basic military training at
Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio,
Texas.
The airman completed an intensive,
eight-week training program in military
discipline and studies, Air Force core
values, physical fitness, and basic
warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training
earn four credits toward an associate in
applied science degree through the
Community College of the Air Force.
Farris earned distinction as an honor
graduate.
He is the husband of Shawna Farris of
Ridgecrest and son of William and
Cherie Farris both of Ridgecrest.
The airman is a 2005 graduate of
Burroughs High School.
