Members of the Cerro Coso Community College third-semester nursing program display scholarships
they received March 7. To the left of and behind the students are Nellavan Jeglum, Alice Benton, Bonnie
Tucker, Gail Tucker, Pat Kleinschmidt and Bill Pitman, representatives of the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital
Foundation, which awarded a total of $10,700 to 21 students in three separate programs. The funds were
distributed as part of the foundation’s twice-yearly scholarship awards.

flank members of LINKS, a military spouse support group.  LINKS provides free bi-monthly training and
information sharing to Navy and Marine Corps spouses (enlisted and officer, male and female) on
lifestyles, insights, networking, knowledge and skills to successfully navigate a military deployment
and/or career. Spouses are encouraged to attend the free mentoring sessions that are held monthly at
the NAWS Fleet and Family Support Center 0610 Blandy Ave., Bldg 02308, Classroom “O.”  Free child care
is available.  Register by telephone at 760-939-4545.  The next sessions will be held April 5-6 from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
