Virtuoso pianist Paul Posnak shows off his technique. Posnak will perform
Monday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Parker Performing Arts Center, as the
next offering of the Indian Wells Valley Concert Association.
He brings to life composers from Chopin to the legendary jazz greats of the
1920s and 1930s.
A student concert will also be provided at 10 a.m. Evening concert tickets
are available for $22 general admission and $18 reduced. The box office
opens at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets are also available at
Red Rock Books, Jeff’s Music and the Maturango Museum. For more

This sketch of Francilu Hansen’s Randsburg art gallery will be among the numerous examples of the
renowned desert artist’s work to be shown in a Hansen retrospective set to open this Friday, Feb. 3,
at 7 p.m. with a reception in the Sylvia Winslow Exhibit Gallery of the Maturango Museum. The public
is invited, and light refreshments will be served. The museum will continue the exhibit Feb. 4-28
during open hours, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Several high-quality prints of the artist’s work will be offered
during the run of the show.
